"Addressing Hidden Patient Populations During Clinical Trials Using Predictive Intelligence"

If sponsors and recruiters are struggling to target underrepresented populations in clinical trials, longitudinal data and predictive analytics can help.

While 70% of Americans are willing to participate in clinical trials, fewer than 5% actually do. Black and Latino Americans are underrepresented in trials, as are those over 65 and those living in rural areas. If sponsors can’t identify appropriately representative populations to recruit, they will struggle to enroll diverse cohorts in their trials – and they may struggle to enroll sufficient numbers of patients at all.

Improving diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical trials requires more than just targeting patients living in specific ZIP codes or leveraging technology to identify and engage with more patients. By directly engaging with physicians and their care teams, researchers are better positioned to find the right patients – and build a cohort more representative of the general population.

Download this playbook to learn:

  • How traditional approaches to trial recruitment have proven insufficient for diversifying trial populations
  • Why clinical and claims data are limited when it comes to identifying a broader population of eligible patients
  • How longitudinal data, coupled with analytics tools, can helps providers work with physicians to find the right candidates for a trial
